Since debuting as the fastest four-seater car in the world at the Turin Motor Show in 1963, Maserati‘s Quattroporte has been hailed as the Italian luxury automaker’s most prominent flagship model, consistently boasting top notch racebred engineering within the body of a luxury sedan. Fast forward now and the company proudly unveils the latest edition of this carbon fibre S-Class beast that comes offered in two trim options: the luxury-focused GranLusso that is also available in a custom Ermenegildo Zegna-designed interior (caramel brown leather, seen above), and the GranSport (with bright red leather interior), which boasts 21″ wheels and additional exterior performance upgrades. Powered by either twin turbo V8, twin turbo V6 or 3-liter V6 turbo diesel engines, this car has a maximum top speed of about 192 mph and 530 horsepower while carbon fiber details the model inside and out.
Watch for the new Quattroporte designs to hit Maserati showrooms later this month, but you can learn more about the car on their website. What are your thoughts on the new models?
