Ride of the Week: Bentley Takes “Gone Fishin” To A Whole New Level

Bentley’s custom shop Mulliner has crafted what may be the ultimate SUV for fly fishermen, because why not? While we aren’t quite sure how many Bentley owners actually take their cars out into the backcountry to go catch dinner, customers now have the ability to purchase one of the world’s most luxurious vehicles fully equipped with everything a fisherman would want to bring along to the river. And then some.

The primary part of this car is the tackle station, refreshment case, and a storage trunk for your waterproof waders. To keep your waders from getting everything all moldy and soggy, the trunk has a water-repellent treatment and a dehumidifier to keep all of your equipment (and all that fine leather) fresh and dry. For when you are looking to tie in flies, owners simply need to pull out the Burr Walnut veneered drawer to choose which lure to use. Want to grab a little liquid warmth for those colder days on the water? Just reach into the refreshment case and pull out one of three different metal flasks. To top it all off the car comes with four machined aluminum fishing rod cases covered in trimmed saddle leather. Of course it’s still equipped with that 600 HP, 6.0-liter W12 engine, eight different driving modes, and air suspension to help you reach those even the most remote fishing destinations. Prices for this luxurious kit have yet to be published, but seeing that the base model Bentayga runs a cool $230,000+, our guess is it’ll cost you a hell of a lot.
